Radka training on the course
Huge congratulations to Royal Canoe Club’s Radka Felingerova who won a bronze medal at the World Wildwater Canoeing Championships this morning.
Radka, coached by Dave Kelly, finished third in the Women’s C1 classic 5km race behind Julie Paoletti of France and the Czech paddler Hana Peterkova at the event held in La Plagne, France.
Dave declared: “Chuffed isn’t the word for it!”
British team coach Neil Stamps said there is now huge excitement in the team and this result bodes well for the 400m sprint event at the weekend which is Radka’s favoured format.
