Radka Felingerova
Commiserations to Radka Felingerova after narrowly missing out on a second medal in a week at the World Wildwater Championships in France.
Radka won a bronze medal in the classic 5km distance and on Saturday finished 4th in the sprint – 400m – distance.
It’s still been a remarkable week. Radka is the first woman to represent Great Britain in the new discipline of C1 Wildwater racing since its introduction into the World Championships programme two years ago.
Despite racing for Royal for more than 10 years and representing Great Britain in Wildwater Racing at World Championships and World Cups for four years, Radka’s actually only been competing in Wildwater for five years.
She is coached by Dave Kelly at Royal and has been sponsored and supported by Hewitt Robins International and TRF Limited, part of Tata.
