Canoe fans’ big-screen action near Dorney

If you’re an Olympic sprint canoeing (or rowing)  fan but don’t have a ticket, don’t despair. There are still tickets for sale and if you check out the Olympic Sprint Canoe page on Facebook you may see details of paddlers who’re trying to offload unwanted passes.

Meanwhile, if you fancy getting near to Dorney without a ticket, you could do worse that checking out Dorney Court Kitchen Garden.

DCKG is getting into the Olympic spirit with all rowing and canoeing events being broadcasted on its ‘big screens’. Being only 200 metres away from the Olympic Rowing Lake, the sound of 30,000 spectators will help create a fantastic atmosphere.  Even if you don’t have a ticket, you will feel like have.

Breakfast is served daily from 6.30am, there’s a BBQ later in the day, hot lunches and Pmms/Champagne on request. And, of course, cream teas/home-made cakes are available.

If you’re going to Dorney, DCKG is also offering Olympic parking at £30 per day in advance, or £40 on the day.
